Fresh Plates Catering provided all of the food (sans dessert) for a party I was hosting at our home for my husband’s 60th birthday. Tracie met with my husband and me prior to the event to discuss our preferences and then created a menu that incorporated our ideas along with her wonderful recommendations. We went with a ‘heavy hor d’oeuvres’ menu and the food was awesome! There were about 45 people in attendance and everyone absolutely raved about the food. It was so delicious and atypical of the type of appetizers you would usually find at a ‘house party’. In addition, the presentation was done very well; she made up a charcuterie tray that was really over the top. I would use Fresh Plates Catering again in a minute and would highly recommend her to anyone.

An attendance guarantee is required 72 hours before your event date. Reduction is not possible after this time. If the count should exceed your guarantee, the invoice will reflect the actual number of people served.

Service Fee

On-site labor charges, if needed or requested, are as follows:
$15 / hour / server
$25 / hour / chef (carving or on-site cooking/grilling)


Gratuity is covered in the Service Fee.

Sales Tax

6.55% sales tax will be applied to your total unless your group qualifies as tax exempt. A copy of your certificate is required for proof of exemption.


There is a minimum fee of $25.00 per vehicle for Larimer County deliveries. Delivery fees outside of Larimer County will be applied based on mileage. Drop-off service which requires equipment pickup will be charged a second delivery fee.


A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date. Final payment is due on the date of your event. Payments may be made by cash or check.


Should a cancellation occur, the deposit is forfeited. There are certain circumstances when this can be waived. Events booked without having paid a deposit will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to the stated deposit. Events cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled event date will be charged 100% of the event total.

Tracie's passion has always been food and creating new selections or trying different twists on traditional recipes. As her kids will attest, some are amazing....others not so! Rest assured though, each menu you will be presented will fall in the successful category! Tracie brings over 20 years of catering, event planning, and event marketing experience to the PLATE. This experience includes working with the Hilton, Westin, Bloomington Convention Center, Kailie's Cuisine and several event planning organizations in Northern Colorado.

Jeff has covered the gamut in the food industry....he worked his way up from a dishwasher to a director of operations and eventually running a multi-million dollar food service program with 60+ employees., He has also worked at Embassy Suites (Maui), Hard Rock Cafe (Maui), The Brown Palace (Denver), Opened the Oakridge Egg & I (Ft. Collins), Opened The Summit Bowling center (Windsor), in addition to the opening of several catering businesses.
